Ben broke his new Scooby Doo fishing pole in the other day by catching his first fish. I am not sure if he was more excited about the Scooby Doo fishing pole or catching fish, but we had a great time. Here are some of the pictures of the action...

House Update
Since I have been getting the question lately about where we are in the selling and building process, I thought I would give an update. We got a contract on our house that we are selling in the first 26 days (praise the Lord). We close on April the 17th, so we have been spending the last 3 weeks packing and moving a little at a time. We have finished the clearing of our new place and plan to start dirt work and building within the next two weeks. It looks like if everything goes as planned, we could be in our new home sometime around October. I have added a few before and after pictures of the tree clearing. We bought this lot because of the nice trees it had on it. I never imagined that when we were done clearing, you would be able to count the ones left on two hands.

A Few More Wedding Pics
Mr. C's (Ben C. that is) Cha-Cha Slide
We went to some friends of ours wedding last weekend, and these pictures were just too cute not to post. There was plenty of dancing after the wedding and let's just say that when the music started, you couldn't pull Ben off of the dance floor. He does this anytime there is music on at the house, but to see him do the Cha-Cha Slide with all of the girls was hilarious. He actually looked like he knew what he was doing and did a great job. Here are a few pics of the action and a link to the video of the real Cha-Cha Slide.

Our New Little Place in the Country
Well, this will be a first for us, but we our going to build our next house. We like the area that we live in so much, that we have bought some land(just a half acre, but it fells like more since it is more than twice the size we have right now) just 2 miles down the road from where we live now. Of course we have to sell our house first before we start building, but we know that the Lord has a buyer out there for our house. Here are a few pictures of the place. I will post pictures as we progress and hopefully that is soon.
Front of property
What will be the view from the back of the house
From the back looking to the front
This tree has treehouse written all over it, or a good tree to set up a ladder stand to get some practice in with my bow...lol
Ben loves playing with the sticks when we go out there
This was so funny, Ben tripped over something and said, "Mommy, help me! I fall down".
God has been so good to us and we just thank him for the blessing of this place that we will call our home one day.

First Post for 2009
I know, it is the middle of January and I am just now posting about Christmas. You probably thought we had given up on the blog. Well, we haven't but things have just been extremely busy lately. After being off of work for a week and a half for the Christmas holidays, I never imagined so much could go on. Long story short, we had a great Christmas, traveled across Texas and had more Christmas, bought a lot to build on, put our house on the market, and showed it a couple of times. Not at all what I had in mind for the holidays this year, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do...lol. Here are a few pictures from all of the Christmas gatherings. enjoy
